Outlook Email Recovery & Repair Tool

DD DBX Repair is a robust tool that repairs *.dbx files and recovers the messages in the *.eml format which simply can be imported by drag and drop function to a specified outlook express folder (as shown in figure. a) or double click the .eml files to read them.

Step 1: When you launch the DD DBX Repair wizard, you get the Application main window as in fig (a).

Step 2: Click “Select this option to repair Outlook Express email archives (.dbx)…” button. The program will now scan the drive for .dbx files and list all the identities on the drive. Select the identity from which you need to recover the lost or deleted e-mail messages.

When you select an identity, the application will display all the .dbx files on the right-hand side, as shown in fig (b).

Step 3: After selecting the .dbx file(s) to repair click Next button (you can also select multiple .dbx files if required). A window will pop-up with Saving Options as in fig (c).

Step 4: DD DBX Repair offers two saving option for the repaired .dbx files.

1. Save data to local drive

   Saving the recovered data to local drive is very simple. Simply provide the location to save data and you are done. However, DD DBX Repair provides and additional option to allow you to save the data in a compressed from. If you wish to do so, Check "Compress data" option and click OK as in fig (d).

1. Burn data to CD/DVD

   DD DBX Repair includes an additional feature to burn recovered data to CD/DVD. Select a burning device and drive for temporary cache, as in fig (e). Check “Compress Data” option, if you wish to save data in compressed form, then click OK as in fig (e). The software will start burning recovered data to CD / DVD.

Step 5: DD DBX Repair restores the recovered e-mail messages in an .eml format. To read your email you simply double click the .eml file or import these .eml files to Outlook Express folders in the Outlook Express program as shown in fig (f).
